Clock In / Clock Out
Eligible employees can clock in and out only after their biometric Patron session and active Organization employee relationship are verified.
Controls remain disabled until the authoritative timekeeping runtime is connected.
This view uses the existing Organization panels. Your secure piSun session confirms the Organization type and each person’s authorized position and scope after sign-in.
Administrative staff · Human resources staff · Payroll staff · Security staff · Other employee
Optional scope: Department · Team.
Preparing a position does not appoint an official, record an election, grant payroll or academic authority, or authorize entry.
Authorized Organization Workforce Access
Employees use their existing piSun Patron identity. Biometric authentication resolves the employee's 10-digit Patron member number, then PSOP checks the active Organization employee relationship before exposing time-clock or employee payroll information. A separate employee username or password is not created.
The Patron member number is the authoritative piSun person identifier. The employee relationship supplies Organization role, department, work location, time-clock eligibility, payroll visibility, and administrative scope. Knowing a Patron number never authenticates an employee; the enrolled biometric session must resolve to that Patron and the Organization relationship must be active.

Employees can review their own current shift, hours, approved adjustments, pay-period totals, and submitted time records without receiving payroll-administration authority.
Authorized supervisors may review time only for employees inside their assigned Organization, department, location, or team scope.
Payroll access is separate from ordinary employee access. Only Patrons with an explicit Organization payroll role may review payroll-ready time, compensation inputs, deductions or adjustments supplied by approved payroll systems, pay-period status, and authorized payroll exports or integrations.
| Employee Patron | Department | Hours | Time status | Payroll status | Authorized action |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Authenticated employee | Assigned scope | — | Authoritative record required | Pending payroll runtime | Role-restricted |
An employee sees only their own permitted time and payroll-facing information unless a separately assigned Organization role grants broader scope.
Time-clock eligibility does not grant payroll administration. Supervisor time approval does not automatically grant payroll authority.
Clock events, corrections, approvals, payroll actions, and exports remain attributable to the authenticated Patron member number and Organization role that performed them.
